Hannah and Jack ...dip their toes in sand and surf |

Ten minutes before their sitting began, a high wind blowing at an unusual angle, shot blinding sand across the beach. We waded out to a little sandbar where the stinging sand could not reach the children. Since the sand had recently been under water, the sand was very wet. Hannah and Jack instinctively started to pat their feet in the wet sand to see the little splashes. Although there were poses where you could see all of their faces, this was our favorite.
